Topless women did their bit for men yesterday when they helped to form a giant "live art installation" to raise awareness of prostate cancer.
About 400 male and female volunteers posed topless in their boxers on the No1 field at Mt Smart stadium in Auckland in the shape of 600 the number of men who die each year from the cancer. The scene was photographed from a 50m crane.
Men's clothing store Barkers organised the stunt. The store is donating $10 to the Prostate Cancer Foundation from the sale of every pair of $29.95 boxers for the next year. They hope to raise $200,000.
