The Blue Lake Dub Experience 2006 was a runaway success and the same people are behind the Blue Lake Music Festival, on Saturday November 29, 2008, at the same beautiful venue, Lake Tikitapu in Rotorua.
Who wouldn't want to watch a hot live gig in the summer sun amongst the gorgeous redwoods and with pristine waters of the lake for a backdrop?
Special guests DLT and DT will open up the stage with headliners Che Fu, Rhombus, dDub and Little Bushmen, supported by 1814 and The Midnights, and more bands to be confirmed.
It is going to be a spectacular mixture of hip-hop, funk, dub, reggae, roots and psychedelic rock. The gates open after 1pm, with the music set to follow soon after and continuing until 11pm that night.
