Two young children have been injured after being hit by a vehicle in Auckland this afternoon.
Police were called to Lillington Rd, Remuera shortly after 3.15pm when the "very young" children were hit while walking home from school.
One child was initially assessed as critical but their injuries were downgraded to minor, according to police.
The other had a broken finger.
Both were taken to Starship Children's Hospital.
One child has been discharged. The other is in a stable condition.
