Van blaze slows traffic
A burning van brought three lanes of traffic to a standstill on an Auckland motorway this afternoon.
A van on fire in a south-bound lane of State Highway One in Albany brought three lanes of traffic to a standstill near the Oteha Valley Rd offramp.
East Coast Bays firefighters took more than 15 minutes to put the fire out.
The driver was not in the vehicle.
One driver heading north on SH1, Peter Kim, said he could feel the heat from the blaze.
