Australia's prince of Gothic love and maudlin balladry will play in New Zealand in December.
Nick Cave will play a series of intimate shows in theatre venues in Auckland and Wellington.
He will be accompanied by a small ensemble of musicians to perform songs spanning his entire catalogue, including his 2013 Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds release, Push The Sky Away.
Cave's creative output pushes beyond music with the release of the genre-defying film, 20,000 Days on Earth, the debut directorial feature by British visual artists Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard.
The film, which features at the International Film Festival portrays a fictionalised 24 hours in Cave's life.
Tickets for the New Zealand shows (December 6 and 7 at Auckland's Civic Theatre and December 8 and 9 at Wellington's St James Theatre) will go on sale on July 3.
