Auckland commuters have had an especially bad start to the week with crashes and incidents at several key transport points this morning.
There are severe delays across the harbour bridge after a crane crashed in a south-bound - city-bound - lane at 6.38am but it was unclear if there were any injuries.
Rush hour on the bridge would be particularly slow into the city because of the blockage.
In the central-west, police were called to the St Lukes on-ramp to remove a cyclist who had made it on to the motorway. Police said no-one was hurt but rubberneckers could cause delays.
And in the south, a crash near Goodwood Heights on the southern motorway, where a car hit a wall at the side of the road would cause delays police said.
