Police have identified a man found dead in South Auckland early this morning but say it will be some time before they can comment on whether charges are likely.
The man was found at a rural property in Ramarama about 5.25am.
Police said the occupants of the address have been fully co-operative with their inquiries and no one else is being sought over the death.
A post mortem examination will be held tomorrow to determine how the man died.
The deceased's name is expected to be released tomorrow after his next of kin have been informed.
