Three vehicle crash leaves four injured and SH16 congested in Kumeu, Auckland

The fire service, St John ambulance and police were all in attendance at the three vehicle crash in Kumeu.

Four people are injured after a three-vehicle incident in the west Auckland town of Kumeu.

The Fire Service was called to the scene on the intersection of SH16 and Foster Rd just after 7:30am on Thursday.

St John spokesman Robbie Walker said four people were injured in the crash, two were in a serious condition and two were in a moderate condition.

All patients were taken to Auckland Hospital by 9am.

Northern Fire Communications shift manager Jaron Phillips said no one was trapped in the incident and SH16 was down to one lane.

St John ambulance, police and the Fire Service were in attendance at the scene.
