The Broken Car Collection Company
When Tasha Williams, pictured, from Manurewa sold her car to The Broken Car Collection Company a few weeks ago, she knew she was being paid the best price and had a chance to win $1000 worth of petrol vouchers.
Then she rang the prize line and found she was a winner. Soon after, she was presented with her $1000 of vouchers that she can use for petrol and all retail services in a service station.
She can also buy batteries, tyres, and get a WOF or have her car serviced at any MTA member workshop.
Tasha's lucky number stays in the draw so she can possibly win again in the next year.
The Broken Car Collection Company have been in the business of recycling old vehicles for the last 10 years. During this time they have recycled over 250,000 old vehicles.
The petrol, oil, battery acid, brake fluid and radiator fluids are removed to prevent pollution in New Zealand and then the vehicle is dismantled and the parts exported.
The car bodies are crushed for recycling, so they have another life as a tin can or reinforcing steel.
It's a very simple process: you phone the free call number 0800 288 999 and negotiate a price for your vehicle. The truck driver calls to confirm you are going to be home when he calls to pick up your vehicle.
When the truck arrives at your home or work, the driver pays for the vehicle and gives you your lucky number card.
Every week you ring a toll free number to check your number and perhaps claim the $1000 like Tasha.
The Broken Car Collection Company call centre is open from 7am to 7pm Mondays to Saturdays. Recovery trucks are on the road from 8am to 5pm Mondays to Fridays, and from 8am to 3pm on Saturdays.
