Police have arrested 10 members of a South Auckland street gang believed to be responsible for more than 40 burglaries.
Inspector Chris de Wattignar said police charged the HFK gang members with offences ranging from burglary, stealing cars, receiving stolen property and participating in an organised criminal group.
Wattingnar said the Mangere based gang was charged in relation to 45 burglaries across Auckland in the last six months.
They appeared in the Manukau District Court today and have been remanded to reappear tomorrow.
