A man and woman are in hospital in moderate and serious conditions after falling through the roof of an abandoned Howick factory early this morning.
Firefighters were called to the old Manukau Knitting Mills building in Wellington Street at 4.45am today after the pair fell through a sky light.
The pair were rushed to hospital by ambulance with the male in a serious, and the female in a moderate condition.
The fall was about five metres, Fire Service Northern communications spokesman Jaron Philips said.
Two fire crews were onsite to assist ambulance staff, he said.
It's not known why the pair were on the roof this morning.
