A paraglider has crashed into a cliff at Castor Bay, on Auckland's North Shore, but miraculously escaped without injury.
Fire communications shift manager Jaron Phillips said a call was received from a man in Campbells Bay at 4.20pm to say he had seen the paraglider crash into a cliff.
Fire crews were sent to the scene and found the man uninjured in JF Kennedy Memorial Park, above the bay.
Crews were helping the man to untangle his parachute from a tree on the cliff.
