An Auckland woman charged with entering and pursuing a suicide pact has been bailed pending her trial.
Karen Robson, 47, was charged after her partner Glenn Barnard Paterson died in September last year of carbon monoxide poisoning.
She is alleged to have arranged to commit suicide with Paterson but she was unsuccessful.
The Crimes Act says anybody who survives a suicide pact where the other person is successful is liable up to five years in prison.
Robson appeared in the High Court at Auckland this morning where Justice Venning varied her bail so she could live in Pukekohe.
She was only allowed to leave her house in the company of her mother, the judge said.
