Remuera turns on Christmas magic

Youngsters are being invited to Remuera for a magical Christmas.
Remuera’s Magical Children’s Christmas is on December 6 from 10am to noon.
The Christmas Fairies will be in town and will help children decorate 75 Christmas trees, says Remuera Business Association manager Victoria McArthur.
"Bring your imagination and let it run wild among all the decorations that you can use to decorate your very own tree," she says.
"Outside the BNZ Bank we will have lots of little trees that need your flair and the fairies will be on hand to cast some special Christmas wishes," Mrs McArthur says.
"I hope this little activity in Remuera will help create some special Christmas memories for children."
Children and their families can then hop on board a horse-drawn carriage as Toby and Ima take them on an enchanting journey along the main street.
Santa will also be around to join in the fun.
Tree decorating is limited and will be on a first-come first-served basis.
