Police are appealing for witnesses to a crash involving a police car and a mother-of-four which resulted in her death.
Liku Onesi, 47, was killed when a police car heading to an emergency job on Ormiston Rd, Otara, crashed into her and her husband Sione's vehicle last week.
Sione suffered arm injuries and was discharged from hospital last Wednesday.
Police want to speak to the driver of a medium sized white truck.
The vehicle was stationary at the intersection of Ormiston and Preston roads at about 8.40am when the accident happened.
Inspector Gary Davies is investigating the accident as is the Independent Police Conduct Authority.
