One person was critically injured and another suffered moderate injuries in a four-car crash north of Auckland yesterday.
One person was taken by ambulance to Auckland City Hospital in a critical condition.
Another was transported to North Shore Hospital with moderate injuries, a St John communications spokeswoman said.
None of the injuries were thought to be life-threatening, police said.
No-one was trapped.
Emergency services were alerted to the Dairy Flat crash on State Highway 17 before 5pm.
Traffic was diverted while the police serious crash unit was investigating.
