An Auckland man died after becoming trapped under a trailer late yesterday afternoon.
East Coast Bays fire station officer Graeme Butter said they arrived at a house in Northcross around 5.10pm to find the man pinned to the floor of his garage.
Butter said they lifted the trailer off the man before police and ambulance officers took over.
Efforts to revive him were unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is believed the man was in his late 50s.
An investigation into his death is now underway.
