Accused internet pirate Kim Dotcom is throwing open the doors to his famous mansion - scene of this year's police raids in which he was arrested - as part of a fundraiser for a local primary school.
The $30m mansion, one of New Zealand's most expensive properties, will be opened to the public as part of the Christmas in Coatesville fundraiser on November 24, from 10am to 4pm.
The event will see 12 mansions in the Coatesville area opened for public visits.
Ninety per cent of funds raised go towards Coatesville School and the rest to the New Zealand Gynaecological Cancer Foundation.
For $60, visitors will get access to 11 properties, excluding Dotcom's mansion. For a nosy around his house, an extra $40 upgrade to a "golden ticket" will allow all-area access.
The golden ticket will allow visitors to walk around Dotcom's garden and also step inside the rented mansion to witness firsthand Dotcom's way of life.
