Armed, tattooed 'bad boy' on the run

Police are hunting a man with a "Bad Boy" tattoo on his neck who they say is likely to be armed and dangerous.

Rory Smyth, 25, failed to appear at the Auckland District Court and has a warrant out for his arrest. 

Police said Smyth may be travelling with Shannelle Ward, 22, who also has a warrant out for her arrest after dodging court. 

Smyth is slim and about 180cm tall.

His tattoo is on the right side of his neck. 

Ward, formerly of New Windsor, is of thin build and is about 167cm tall. 

Police want anyone with information about the duo to contact Acting Detective Sergeant Matthew Lynch on 027 281 6706 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
