Hunt on for armed, tattooed 'bad boy'
Police hunting a man with a "Bad Boy" tattoo on his neck say he may have been involved in an armed robbery in Panmure last month.
Rory Smyth, 25, failed to appear at the Auckland District Court on several charges, including unlawful possession of shotgun ammunition.
A warrant is out for his arrest.
Police said Smyth was dangerous and known to be armed. They are warning the public not to approach him.
Smyth has been named an "a person of interest" by police investigating an armed robbery at Panmure nightclub, Miss Q's.
During the robbery, tens of thousands of dollars were taken at gunpoint by a man in possession of a shotgun.
It's believed Smyth may be travelling with Shannelle Ward, 22, who also has a warrant out for her arrest after dodging court.
Smyth is slim and about 180cm tall.
His distinctive tattoo is on the right side of his neck.
Ward, formerly of New Windsor, is of thin build and is about 167cm tall.
Police are urging anyone with information about the duo to contact Acting Detective Sergeant Matthew Lynch on 027 281 6706.
