A nude calendar of the family and friends of slain Auckland student Christie Marceau has been launched.
The Christie's Angels calendar marks the one-year anniversary of Marceau's death at the hands of Akshay Chand, 19.
Chand stabbed Marceau, 18, to death at her Hillcrest home on November 7, 2011.
He was found not guilty of her murder last month due to insanity.
The calendar was released at a function at Takapuna's historic Lake House Arts Centre yesterday.
It features Christie's older sister Heather and parents Brian and Tracey.
It also includes images of Rebecca Templeman, the mother of Liberty Templeman who was murdered in 2008, age 15, by Theodorus Hermanus Kriel.
The calendar was created in Marceau's memory, with the nude images said to highlight her vulnerability.
The Christie Marceau Charitable Trust, which aims to raise funds to help other young New Zealanders fulfil their dreams, was also announced at the launch.
