A crash involving a car and a truck cut power to parts of Papakura early today.
A police spokesman said the vehicles took out a power pole at the intersection of Hunua Rd and Dominion Rd, a mainly rural area, about 5.22am.
There were no significant injuries.
Counties Power said the accident cut electricity to 3377 customers in Papakua for around 45 minutes.
By 8.30am, another 32 customers still had no power but crews expected it to be restored by the end of the day.
