Several hundred hundred people have braved Auckland's atrocious weather to check out the tastes, sights and sounds of the ASEAN Festival 2012.
The six-hour event - organised by Association of Southeast Asian Nations - has been hosted at the Logan Campbell Centre, ASB Showgrounds.
The show blended several cultural displays, numerous ethnic food stalls and trade displays from Asian and New Zealand-based exhibitors.
The bad weather which has blanketed the Auckland region impacted on crowd numbers.
Those serving food from ASEAN member nations - Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam - in an outdoor foodcourt were left drenched with regular downpours.
Inside the Logan Campbell Centre, a handful of displays were set up to promote the ASEAN nations.
Live performances from cultural groups from some of the respective nations also entertained visitors to the trade show.
