Four people injured in a two-car smash north of Auckland yesterday, are in a stable condition.
A man was cut from the wreckage of the crash, which occurred just past the gas station at Te Hana, Rodney at 12.35pm.
It was initially reported seven people with critical injuries were transported to Auckland City Hospital but a DHB spokesman today said it was only two women and two children who had been admitted.
He would not comment on the extent of their injuries but confirmed they were in a stable condition.
The Police Serious Crash Unit is investigating.
