Four fire trucks rushed to Ardmore Airport this afternoon after a light aircraft called in a "full emergency".
A radio message from the pilot cited engine problems and an urgent call was put in to the fire service at 4.20pm.
The aircraft, which was carrying two people, eventually landed successfully.
An Ardmore Airport representative refused to comment on the incident.
