Yes youCan Xmas charity appeal starts

Two charity organisations will come together next month to collect for the Auckland City Mission’s Christmas appeal.

Next Thursday representatives from Auckland’s Yes Disability Resource Centre and iCan in Wellington will be collecting cans at the mission on Hobson St.

The can collection will also celebrate the International Day of Persons with a Disability and promotes the contribution that both youth and people with disabilities can make to society.

Donators can leave messages of inspiration when they drop off cans on a live link to the Facebook website beginning with the words Yes iCan, Yes youCan or Yes weCan. It runs from 9am to 2.30pm at 136-140 Hobson St.
