The good people of the Westmere Butchery have shaved their heads to raise money for cancer research.
But for one staffer the sacrifice was greater than the others.
In some cases all that was required to rid the chaps of their hair was two minutes of light shaving.
For front-of-house star Ashleigh Krija the loss was much greater.
The 25-year-old mum gave up her long locks for the cause but was happy to do so.
"I've always wanted to do it, it's on the bucket list, and we have a butcher here whose daughter has cancer so it's close to our hearts," she says.
"I've also got three children and I'm trying to show them it's not what's on the outside that matters, it's what's on the inside."
Through sponsorship and a raffle the butchery raised $1500 for the cause.
