The callous theft of an heirloom ring and a charm bracelet has left Tarryn Campbell devastated.

Thieves even took the vintage brooch and earrings she wore on her wedding day last year, along with her grandmother's diamond engagement ring and a charm bracelet she has had for 20 years.

Her wedding album was found in a rubbish bin in Papatoetoe.

It had the wedding invitation in the front with her phone number on it and the person who found it, along with another holiday album and the couple's passports, was able to contact her.

Mrs Campbell got a call from her neighbours last Wednesday when they noticed her front door had been kicked in and she came home to discover the Hillsborough house in a mess and valuables gone.

Mrs Campbell is offering a reward for the return of the ring and charm bracelet. Anyone wanting to return the jewellery and claim the reward can contact her on 021-717-057 or by email at tarryn_n@yahoo.com.

The Avondale police are investigating, contact the station on 820-5700.
