Police are seeking a man who has been indecently assaulting women while they load groceries into their cars.

Two incidents have been reported, both on Saturdays between noon and 4pm at the Lynfield Countdown carpark, where the man has groped the women from behind before running away.

Police are concerned he will offend again and are keen to hear from anyone with information, or anyone else who has been indecently assaulted by him.

He is described as Somalian, 1.83 metres tall, with a lean build, short black curly hair, and chiselled features.

The session is for those aged 16-18, where young people can present their views to ministers and MPs.

Labour list MP Carol Beaumont is encouraging Maungakiekie locals to consider the opportunity, saying it will help them develop their skills and knowledge.
