Fun day gives gift of sight

The Fred Hollows Foundation NZ will benefit from a family fun day at Specsavers Sylvia Park on Saturday.

The store will donate $25 from each eye test assessment performed on the day to the foundation. Each donation will cover the cost of surgery to restore sight to a person in a nearby Pacific nation.

There will also be giveaways and a host of family activities, including balloons and children’s face painting in exchange for a gold coin donation to the foundation.
