It's that time of the week again... Friday! The weather's looking good so here are some ideas of what you can get up to around the East and Bays area.
Wedding Bells are Ringing
Tieing the knot soon? If choosing bridesmaid's dresses and flower arrangements is doing your head in get along to the annual Bride and Groom show. New Zealand's largest wedding expo is always popular and with hundreds of prizes to be given away and experts on hand to offer advice this is a must for any couple who are about to get hitched.

After a bit of pampering? Devereaux Boutique hotel in Remuera are hosting a High Tea and Beauty event for those after a bit of self indulgence. Tickets include two pampering sessions as well as high tea. Ooh lala!

While we're in Remuera it seems a shame not to mention the inaugural Artisan Craft and Gourmet Food Market, which is due to become a monthly fixture at St Aidans Church. The market will offer a fine selection of NZ goods ranging from high street fashion, iconic Kiwiana, vintage & retro, to novelty & kitsch items. There's also free parking, great coffee & live jazz- what's not to like!

For the next 5 days Event Cinemas in Newmarket will play host to the 7th annual Documentary Edge festival. Covering a range of different subjects incluiding, New Zealand, World Cinema, Culture Vultures, Heroes & Icons, Shorts, and Generations there is bound to be something that tickles your fancy.

Go Gardening Out West
Once you've sorted your wedding woes out at the Bride and Groom show why not turn your attention to the house.
