Licence breach

A police checkpoint at Eastern Beach last Friday found 20 people to be breaching the conditions of their driver licence in just one hour.
Howick police sergeant Keith Olsen is appealing to parents to make sure children are aware of the conditions of their licence.
A breach of licence conditions comes with a $400 fine.
Mr Olsen says police would also like parents to be aware of what students are doing while on study leave.
"We don't want to be called to incidents committed by students who should be studying," he says.
Police have had incidents of students shoplifting and breaching liquor bans during their study leave.
