The snakes and ladders playground at Farm Cove Reserve is finished after being talked about for a decade.

The playground in the Bramley Drive reserve was approved by the Pakuranga Community Board last year after a lengthy process stemming from submissions against the proposal.

The design fits with the natural contour on the sloped site it occupies so it won’t impair residents’ views. Planting of native shrubs helps the playground fit in with the landscape and will enhance the popular Rotary walkway.

Children can roll dice at the playground to use slides and ladders as if they were playing the board game.
