Buying swanky ball shoes for a steal on Sunday will help young cyclists get into skin-tight racing suits.
The Macleans College Cycling and Multisport Club is holding the fundraising event at the school's Snell House from 10am to 3pm.
The club managed to secure a load of ladies' ball shoes, men's formal shoes and evening bags from an importer with excess stock.
The shoes will walk out the door for $25 and the bags for $20.
Club president Nigel Uden says they're bargain prices.
"I understand their retail value is between $100 and $150," Mr Uden says.
"As part of the event the kids will be doing mail and windscreen drops at spots like netball courts because a lot of this will be targeted at the females, obviously."
Students will also run the event under adult supervision.
The club of 42 youngsters is partly funded by Macleans College but a large proportion comes from fundraising and parents' pockets.
"At the end of the day it's for the kids," Mr Uden says. "They're really enthusiastic about it, especially the girls when they saw the shoes.
"This is in support of the school, the kids as well as to try and get them to some of the events they can't get to."
Funds raised will also go towards cycling equipment and racing suits.
Eftpos and cash will be accepted on the day.
