"It represent an increase of 12 per cent for the year, and is among the largest price gains in percentage terms for any area in Auckland," Barfoot & Thompson managing director Peter Thompson says.
"Sales values achieved in November remained high with the average selling price being $655,000. November's high average selling price was lifted through one home selling for in excess of $2.5 million and another for in excess of $1m. The number of homes sold also increased significantly in the past 12 months, with sales up year on year by 32 per cent."
