A review is under way on what Dannemora residents think of a pride of peafowl living nearby.
A council spokeswoman says surveys have gone into all letterboxes between Fintona Place and Kilkenny Drive.
"We've asked a series of questions about people's support for peafowl on the reserve and about rehoming the birds," she says. "With the holiday period, we've given people a few weeks to respond and asked for surveys to be returned by January 20."
The 12 peacocks and peahens roost in Logan Carr Reserve and were featured in the Eastern Courier, November 27, because some residents are upset by their behaviour in the streets around the park.
