Karen Kirk likes to make Christmas magical for everyone.
Hundreds of cars drive past her Dannemora home to see a magical festive array of lights during the holiday season.
There is even an inflatable Santa train and a snow machine that pumps out artificial snow.
Santa Claus makes a personal appearance on selected nights in the leadup to Christmas.
All Karen and her partner Paul ask is that people to leave a donation for Totara Hospice South Auckland in the collection bucket.
Karen and Paul have been putting up festive lights for the past six years.
Both have had loved ones who have been helped by the hospice.
They originally started the decorations to enter competitions but say they get more satisfaction through raising funds for charity.
They raised $1232 for the hospice last year. The lights will be on display at 9 Sayes Close, Dannemora, until December 27.
