WANTED: Police are looking for this man, along with two others, in connection with a robbery.

Counties Manukau police are still searching for three people after an aggravated robbery at a popular bar.

Two men armed with a softball bat entered the Coyote Bar on Great South Rd in Papakura at about 9pm on January 15.

Bar staff stayed safe, locked in the office while the offenders stole the cash register from the counter.

The Coyote Bar's owner, who wants to be known only as Jim, says despite the incident bar staff are doing fine.

"This is the first incident of attempted robbery in my eight years at the bar. Robberies do happen everywhere and at any time and any business is susceptible."

He says he's certain the offenders will be identified.

After the robbery the men fled into Elliot St where they were seen getting into a dark four-door car driven by a third person.

Anyone who recognises the man in the image or knows anything about the incident should call the Counties Manukau crime squad on 261 1321 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
