The world's most ethnically diverse market is set to open.
The Manukau Markets begin on April 20 at the Vodafone Events Centre and will run each Sunday from 6am to noon.
The market will celebrate Auckland's unique ethnic and cultural diversity in one place with more than 400 stallholder sites available.
It's already attracting a variety of stallholders from artists, clairvoyants and buskers to glass and pottery makers, jewellery and flower sellers and traditional fruit and vegetable growers. Food sellers will offer cuisines from across the globe.
Five sites are being set aside free of charge for community and non-profit organisations to spread their message and live bands can perform free of charge in a band zone next to the market.
