It's been predicted by every single gossip mag more than once. And this week New Idea is calling it again - Kate Middleton is supposedly pregnant.

What's different this time? New Idea have actually named a source.

In no way does that mean it's any more of an "exclusive" than it has been the first couple of hundred predictions, but it's a step in the right direction toward interviewing for a story.

Whether it's true or not, our prediction is one Jessica Hay, an old school friend of the Duchess, is now on the outer of the royal family, after she reportedly told the magazine:

"They're planning to make an announcement in December. I have this on the highest authority and it's not to be taken lightly."

That coupled with a couple of shots of Middleton in heavy overcoats with a hand near her stomach make for one of the strongest predictions yet.

The Duchess of Cambridge is also on the cover of this week's Woman's Day, credited with getting Camilla through her royal tour of New Zealand.

The close pals apparently met before Camilla embarked on her tour with Prince Charles and Kate passed on gems like make sure "your shoes can accommodate feet that have swollen after a long-haul flight".

She really is the glue that holds the royal family together...

The Woman's Weekly cover isn't nearly so attractive. Although they too have an exclusive, it's with Paul Henry.

After his Channel 10 breakfast show was cancelled he's to make the move back to New Zealand where he will not be taking up post as Mark Sainsbury's replacement in a revamped version of Close Up.

Although it wasn't because he wasn't asked, Henry assures.

"I was very flattered to be offered the job, and of course, it's something you have to consider. I recognise it's a great opportunity - and certainly I am by far the best person to do it," Henry said in his usual modest style.

We all know his sense of humour by now, he was obviously joking... kind of.

Loyalty however won out in the end, prompting him to turn the opportunity down.

"But I have a contract with MediaWorks, which owns TV3, so to take the job with TVNZ would have been, I think, not just a direct breach of contract, but fundamentally wrong," Henry said.

And although the teaser on the cover says "you won't believe what he's doing next..." it would appear from the story inside that he's shock horror, spending the Christmas holidays with his daughters.
