Grammys: Best & worst dressed

Grammys
The Bad - A fashion critic herself, Kelly Osbourne wore a Paule Ka dress with H Stern jewels. The dress is fine, we like the yellow gold bling and have been advocates of Kelly's hair in the past, but she's in need of a good ol' roots touch up, pronto.
Grammys
The Neutral - Karlie Kloss, 20, wore a blue Michael Kors cut-out gown. It's nice, but she's a supermodel, this is her day job. Let's move on.
Grammys
The 'Meh' - Call Me Maybe singer Carly Rae Jepsen pulls a Sofia Vergara in a Roberto Cavalli gown. She looks nice, but this look is too old for a 27-year-old.
Grammys
The Brave - Our home-girl Kimbra went full-blown figure-skater-meets-Disney-princess in this gown made of 2kg of pearls by Aussie designer Jaime Lee, and call it patriotism, but we think she just pulls it off thanks to unbelievable 60s-glam make-up. It's the Grammys, you're meant to go a little off-centre on this red carpet.
Grammys
The Most Improved - Giuliana Rancic looks softer and less severe than she has in ages in this Carlos Miele gown. We love her new hair and the volume on this dress works well on her.
Grammys
The Biggest Change - She's wearing colour! Massive fan of monochrome, Adele, stepped out in a bright red floral Valentino gown tonight. It's bordering on upholstery-chic, but it suits her retro aesthetic.
Grammys
The Good - Taylor Swift's J Mendel gown is gorgeous. It's not going to keep us up at night with excitement, but bottom line is the 23-year-old looks lovely.
Grammys
The Rule-Breaker - Jennifer Lopez laughs in the face of the Grammy organisers 'don't show too much skin' edict in this swimsuit-like Anthony Vaccarello gown with her fave top knot hair and pointy gold nails. Check her out doing Jolie leg!
Grammys
The Crazy - Florence Welch works dino-chic in this emerald Givenchy gown. The colour's amazing, and while we'd personally pass the stegosaurus spikes, she's an avant-garde musician, so can kind of work it.
Grammys
The Best - Rihanna hits a six with this custom Azzedine Alaia dress. It fits perfectly and her make-up showcases just how beautiful she is. This is the best we've ever seen her look. Fact.
Grammys
The Good - Only Ms. Beyonce could pull off this Osman crepe jumpsuit on the red carpet. It accentuates her waist, her hair and make-up is fresh, and we imagine she won't be banning any of the pics from this event.
Grammys
The Bad - Katy Perry channels Morticia Addams and Poison Ivy in one overcooked Gucci look. We're also pretty sure she's breaking the not-too-much-cleavage rule.
Grammys
The Neutral - Nicole Kidman's Vera Wang gown certainly isn't a miss, but the cut does little to move us (this might be one of those that were better in real life). But she's obviously taken some hair tips from Keith.
Grammys
The Good - Kiwi-Brit singer-songwriter Natasha Bedingfield looks amazing in this Emerson gown paired with punchy and modern gold accessories. It's fresh and edgy without being too try-hard.
Grammys
The Good - Bey's D Child sister Kelly Rowland also tiptoed around the not-too-much skin rule with this Georges Chakra gown which reveals hints of side- and under-cleavage. That said, with the subtle make-up and flattering fit, we think this is a hit.
Grammys
The Good - We're all over Solange's shoes - our most coveted footwear of the night. And her green dress beats her big sis Beyonce's look. That said, her make-up's a little draining - she looks like she's falling asleep. We'd have liked a pop of coral lippie or something.
Grammys
The Neutral - Country superstar Carrie Underwood wore Roberto Cavalli to the awards. It's better than Carly Rae's Cavalli, but... oh sorry, we dropped off there for a second. Next!
Grammys
The Bad - Alicia Keys is amazing - husband Swizz Beatz (do you think she actually calls him that?) certainly thinks so. But, alas, we don't love this Azzedine Alaia dress on her. The shape of the skirt is a tad contrived, the leather up-top a touch tack and her hair is a lot too stiff.
Grammys
The Good - '2 Broke Girls' star Kat Dennings wore a structured Vivienne Westwood cocktail number. And while we're not that keen on the tie-dye style pattern, Kat's hair and make-up may just be the best of the night.
Grammys
The Misplaced - Alexa Chung's polished make-up is an A+, and this flirty Valentino Red gown is cute, but perhaps not entirely event-appropriate.

The 55th Grammy Awards have landed, and fashion-fans get ready, as the annual music celebration always brings out the boldest, craziest looks of the award season.

Although that may not be the case this year, as the event's organisers have asked the usually-daring musician guests to make sure "buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered" to keep the event prime-time friendly. Let's just see if they stick to that.

We'll bring you photos of the celebs arriving as they're snapped, and find out who they're wearing as soon as it's revealed. So, keep checking back, and sit back and enjoy the good, the bad and the ugly in Grammy red carpet looks.
