Some Schweppes drinks are being recalled due to a risk they could contain glass fragments.

The products affected are 330ml clear glass bottles of Schweppes lemonade, tonic water, soda, dry ginger ale, and soda lemonade twist. Those being recalled have a best before date between January 10, 2014 and January 30, 2014.

The Ministry for Primary Industries said Coca-Cola Amatil was initiating the recall because of a fault in a small number of glass bottles within the affected batches which may have chipped finishes and glass fragments.

"Consumers should not drink this product."

Anyone with the bottles should contact Coca-Cola Amatil customer services on 0800 505 123. The company would provide a replacement voucher and may make arrangements for collection.
