Safe cycling code is out
Relevant offers
A new free cycling code featuring safe cycling practices is now out.
The user-friendly guide, developed by the New Zealand Transport Agency, is ideal for nor-west residents learning about cycling on the road and for adults teaching children to ride.
Rodney District Council's sustainable transport co-ordinator Claire Flattery says the code will help cyclists understand their responsibilities on the road.
"And motorists - why not take the opportunity to pick up a Road Code yourselves and brush up on the rules."
