Relevant offers
Award-winning Operatunity is back in Orewa soon.
Romanian-born soprano Alex Ioan is just one of the stars appearing in Operatunity's first show From Broadway to Westend - featuring beloved favourites and some new gems from the hit shows of these famous theatre districts.
Ioan, who began performing with Operatunity last year, says the difference with these shows comes down to the audience.
"I love Operatunity's audiences because they enjoy the concerts so much," says Ioan.
"They are probably the most appreciative audience I have ever sung to."
At just 24, Ioan is an emerging artist with NBR New Zealand Opera for 2010.
After being crowned top group at the 2009 Variety Artist Club awards, Operatunity's concerts are set to delight audiences from Whangarei to Invercargill.
The themed concerts include timeless tunes and offer audiences a chance to interact with the artists by sharing lunch with them after the shows, that start at 11am.
Tickets are $27 with lunch included, available online at www.operatunity.co.nz or by calling toll free on 0508 -
266-237.
