Fun for all at Chinese fest

It's the Year of the Tiger, starting February 14.
A festival is being held on February 13 at the ASB Showgrounds in Greenlane from 9.30am to 4pm.
It will be opened by Prime Minister John Key. There will be amusement rides and other activities for children and demonstrations of Chinese calli-graphy, arts, crafts and martial arts.
A 24-person dragon dance troupe, acrobatic performers from China, a world famous portrait artist, Hamilton band DragonSoul, martial arts, t’ai chi and hip hop demonstrations and a lion dance group with members aged four to 15 are featured.
More than 50 outdoor hot food stalls are included.
Visitors can enter a competition to win one of two return trips to China.
