Finding your way around the North Harbour business district can now be done with a click of the mouse.
The North Harbour Business Association has launched an interactive map that makes it easier to find businesses and services within the area.
Association general manager Gary Holmes says the map is a major development for the thriving district.
Based on the AA maps platform and using technology by local firms Geo Smart and Maffey.com, the online tool covers the whole district and includes all North Harbour businesses.
The map has a legend that tells points of interest such as cafes and restaurants, suppliers and services, automated teller machines, schools and bus stops.
"When you click on an icon or search for a particular business, basic contact information including business name, address and phone number will appear in a pop-up window," Mr Holmes says.
He says the tool enables people to access basic information about all businesses and services available at the estate.
The map can also be used to view the closed circuit television cameras when they are launched in the coming weeks.
The interactive map can be accessed through www.nhba.org.nz/map.
