The two-day tournament at the Fitness Expo in Auckland featured top boxers from Tahiti, Tonga, Australia and New Zealand.
David Light (pictured) beat Australian Jason Whateley for the heavyweight title. Light, who is trained by Dr John McKay at the School of Boxing in Wairau Valley, is in good form - adding to his silver medal from the prestigious China Open.
Chad Milnes won the lightweight final when he stopped his Tahitian opponent. Trained by Harry Otty in Beach Haven, Milnes has set his sights on the next Commonwealth Games, but first he will compete in Taiwan in August.
