Auckland teens with a penchant for fashion got to showcase their talents on the country's most famous catwalk.
YMCA's fifth annual Walk The Line show was held September 7 as part of New Zealand Fashion Week at the Viaduct Events Centre.
Organised by YMCA North Shore's Raise Up Crew, it allowed more than 50 teenaged designers the opportunity to create high fashion garments and take part in the city's annual prestigious event. Designers created garments for four categories: Twilight in Paris, Rockin' the Paper Frock, High Fashion and Open Design.
Street-style bloggers FourEyes judged the entries and awarded a winner for each of the categories, as well as an overall show winner.
Carmel College student Tanya Kerr, 17, won the grand prize with a combination of laser-cut triangle wooden tiles glued to a fabric base skirt, with braces and chest piece.
