WANTED: This man is wanted by police in relation to an aggravated robbery in Beach Haven.

Police are appealing for public help to find a man who robbed a Beach Haven shop armed with a large kitchen knife.

The aggravated robbery has been unsolved for more than four months.

A man entered the Four Square store on the corner of Lancaster and Beach Haven Rds at 8pm on November 17 last year. He threatened two of the three staff with a knife and stole cigarettes and money from the till.

Constable Greg Thomsen says the man must be caught.

"Everyone has the right to feel safe in their place of work and this offender has traumatised innocent people who are just trying to make a living."

The man was last seen turning off Beach Haven Rd into Hayman Place.

Mr Thomsen is asking people to take a close look at security photos.

"Even though his face is partially covered he has very distinctive eyebrows. Someone out there will know who he is and we'd encourage them to contact us."

The man is described as 170 centimetres tall and slightly overweight.

He was wearing black pants and a black jacket with a hood.

The jacket had a distinctive gold and silver logo on the back.

Call Constable Greg Thomsen on 477 5000 or the anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111 with any information.
