Get the Mo-stie out of Movember

Marmite will become Mo-mite this Movember as the iconic New Zealand brand takes on the massive task of renaming and relabelling itself in support of the popular fundraising initiative.

As one of Movember’s key sponsors for 2008, Sanitarium will donate 15 cents from every jar of Marmite purchased to The Movember Foundation.

We’re thrilled to be part of Movember this year. It’s always great to see New Zealand blokes rally together for a good cause, and just as Kiwi’s love their Marmite, they also love their mos! says Marmite product manager Hayley Findlay.

To gather support of Movember, Marmite is trumpeting the return of the classic cheese and Marmite toastie, now appropriately renamed the Mo-stie.

Not only does the Mo-stie provide a hearty, healthy, follicle boosting lunch, it also allows everyone to get involved and support a worthy cause, says Hayley.

So why not boost your protein intake and enjoy a Mo-stie for a mightier mo this Movember!

This year, proceeds from the Movember Foundation will be split between the Cancer Society of New Zealand, for prostate cancer research and support services, and the New Zealand Mental Health Foundation’s Out of the Blue campaign to help men experiencing depression.
